Navicon pyöräilyagentit Timo ja Pekka (aka Zim ja Pöx) saivat vieraita Kööpenhaminasta viime viikonlopulla, kun Copenhagenize:n perustaja ja The Life-Sized City -dokumenttisarjan juontaja Mikael Colville-Andersen saapui vihdoinkin Ouluun vierailulle.
Mikaelin kuvauskeikka Nigerian Lagosiin peruuntui viime hetkellä ja yht’äkkiä miehellä oli vapaata kalenterissaan. Mitäpä siis tehdä? No, lomamatkalle Ouluun tietenkin! Timo ja Pekka ovat mieheen törmänneet tuon tuostakin maailmalla ja joku yhteinen prokkiskin on tullut tehtyä vuosien varrella. Mikael on myös ollut puhujana mukana Timon ja Pekan järjestämissä Winter Cycling Congresseissa. Poikien muistin mukaan ainakin vuosina 2015 Leeuwardenissa ja 2017 Montrealissa.
Lisää muistijälkiä hankittiin tietenkin pyöräilemällä ympäriämpäri Oulua, avantouimalla ja saunalautalla saunomalla. Ehkä jokunen virvoike tuli myös nautittua. Lisäksi Oulu sai jälleen ansaittua huomiota maailmalla lukuisien some-postauksien myötä. Vierailua mahdollistamassa oli myös Business Oulu.
A LEGAL ALIEN FROM COPENHAGEN
Navico’s cycling agents Timo and Pekka (aka Zim & Pöx) had visitors from Copenhagen last weekend as the founder of Copenhagenize and the host of “The Life-Sized City” Mikael Colville-Andersen finally made his way to Oulu.
Mikael’s trip to Nigeria got cancelled at the last minute and suddenly he had some free time in his calendar. Hmmm….what to do? Well, the obvious: A road trip to Oulu, bien sür. These three amigos have been running into each other in conferences around the world and have had some common projects as well such as Almetyevsk. Mikal has also been a key note in Winter Cycling Congresses, founded and co-organized by Timo&Pekka. Boys remember hanging out together during WCC’s at least in Leeuwarden 2015 and Montreal 2017.
More things to remember got stored to their hard drives as these three amigos biked around the winter cycling capital of the world, ice swam and had several rounds in sauna. With all these activities during the day it was crucial to mind about the fluid balance… mission accomplished!
